A heart attack happens when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked. The lack of oxygen leads to the death of heart muscle. Heart attack symptoms vary from person to person. Some people who are having a heart attack have warning signs, while other people might not feel the symptoms.

. Call for help

.  Do not drive and try to keep calm

.  Keep the person sit down and take rest

.  Loosen any tight clothing

.  Begin CPR if the person is unconscious

.  Ask if the person takes any chest pain medicine


Causes


A heart failure occurs when the heart unable to pump out blood like it usually does with blood and fluid getting accumulated in the lungs leading to congestive heart failure. Over time, the increase of fatty deposits, including cholesterol, form substances that can narrow the arteries


  • A complete blockage indicates you've had an ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
  • A partial blockage indicates you've had a non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI).

2. High blood pressure.

3. High blood cholesterol

4. Stress.

5. Obesity and overweight.

6. Diabetes.

7. Physical inactivity.

8. Metabolic syndrome

Taking medicines can decrease your risk of a subsequent heart attack and help your damaged heart function better.
