What is asthma :  

A condition in which your airways become infected, narrow, and swell, and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe.

For some people, asthma is a minor problem. For others, it can be a major problem. Unfortunately, there is no cure for asthma at this point. Some natural therapies may help you manage symptoms of asthma. 


Symptoms:

  • Adult-Onset Asthma : When asthma symptoms appear are they develop in adulthood is known as adult-onset asthma.
  • Occupational Asthma : Occupational asthma is asthma caused by chemical fumes, gases, dust, or smoke.


Treatment for Asthma:

Medications: The right medications for you depend on your age, symptoms, asthma triggers, and what works best to keep your asthma under control. 

Bronchodilators are a type of medication that make breathing easier by relaxing the muscles in the lungs and widening the airways

Quitting smoking can reverse asthma-inducing changes in the lungs.

Nebulizers are usually used to open up airways during asthma attacks but oxygen therapy is used as well as treatment for asthma patients.
